Topwork plastic preform mould features

  • Preform mould ranges from 1 cavity up to 48 cavities
  • Advanced structure is designed consulting European preform mould.
  • Mould cavity and Core are made of steel imported from Sweden( ASSAB S136) or Germany (DIN 1.2316)with fine polishing, high hardness( HRC45-HRC52) and anti-corrosion to get mould's high precision and good quality.
  • Pneumatic drive the nozzle pin(imported from Japan) for simultaneous high-speed open and close actions.
  • Patent designed rectifying system is adopted to lessen the possible preform thickness problem happening during production.
  • Special designed water hoses eliminate leakage and water marks on preform.
  • Moldflow analysis reduce AA level.
  • International standard screw neck, imported nitrided steel with high hardness and long life time.
  • Long using life over 2.5 million times of injection cycle for our preform mould

Preform Mould Configuration:


I.Off-center Adjustment System
Off-center adjustment system can make the error of preform’s wall thickness less than 0.05mm. This system does not affect the lifetime of mould;

II.Self-lock System
International advanced bi-awls fixed orientation self-locked structure has been adopted by our preform mould.

III.Cooling System
All the water Channels in the mold’s each inner part, which make the cycle time short enough. And all the cooling channels have been specially treated to prevent them from jam;

IV.Heating System
Double Heating System can ensure that the impact of heating is good and quality control is credible. The Heating Band unit makes nozzles be with invariable temperature. The Heater Unit is used to heat the hot runner plate with long using life and powerful heating capacity.Heating band inside our preform mould is "hotset" imported from Germany.

V.Hot Runner System
The preform mould adopt Pin-valve type Hot Runner System, such hot runner system can reduce mould’s each part’s wear & tear and maintenance cost, and also save 10%~15% electric energy;

VI.Hydraulic Ejecting System
The perform-doffing success ratio has achieved firm endurance and the whole perform ejecting process will become much quieter.

Preform mould spare parts and after-sale services:
Each set of PET preform mold undergoes strict mould trials and preform mould trial video will be sent to customer for confirmation before shipping from factory and attaches full set of parameter that is recorded depending on their own and sole serial number. Together with the PET preform mould, full set of spare parts will be supplied for free to keep mould normal operation . In the use of the PET preform mould, Topworks provides adequate spare part to any request and Topworks service department are very willing to provide technical support immediately for any possible request in any time,also we could send our engineers overseas for mould installing and adjusting.
